Scroll down to the bottom and you will find the Windows version. You will be directed to the download page and there you will find .exe file. Once it gets downloaded, you can go through the process of installation, and also a shortcut will be created on your desktop. It’s that easy.
How to create an account in JioMeet?
After you have downloaded the app on your mobile phone or your desktop the next step is to create an account. So let me tell you how you can do so. It’s easy and I’m sure you can create an account for yourself in a go. In your mobile, open the app. Then sign up by using your name and email or mobile number. You can choose either of them. After that, agree to the terms and conditions and click on Done. Now you will be directed to a page where you need to insert an OTP, only if you registered through your mobile number. And if not, then check your email. There you will get a link to verify your account of JioMeet.
How to join a meeting in JioMeet?
Here, I will mention two procedures. Let’s begin with the users of the app on their mobile phone. So you need to go to the app. Login to your account and click on New Meetings. The next screen will come on your phone. Select whether you want to keep your video on or off. Below that, you will find Use Personal Meeting ID, which you need to turn it on to generate the ID and password of your meeting. The next step will be to tap on Start Meeting. Invite participants either by tapping on participants> invite or by copying the link and sharing it manually. Or simply, tap on supported app> select a user, with whoever you want to share with.
On the desktop, you need to go to the app. Login to your account. Click the arrow down just next to New Meeting. Check both options that appear. Get started by clicking on New Meetings. Click Participants>invite> click on the mentioned email services. You can also copy the invite link and go about by sharing the link on the services available.
If you want to host a meeting through the website of JioMeet then you can also do that. Simply visit the website jiomeetpro.jio.com/home> login> click on Host a Meeting. Inviting participants is the same as mentioned above for desktop users.
How to share the screen?
- If you are using iOS, then tap on Share from the meeting screen. After that tap on Screen Share Start. Next tap on Start Broadcast. If you want to stop sharing your screen then tap on Stop Share. After that tap on Screen Share Stop and lastly tap on Stop Broadcast.
- If you are using Android, then tap on Share from the Meeting Screen. A pop up appears and from that tap on Start Now and you get started. To stop the screen sharing, tap on Stop Share.
- If you use your desktop, then you need to tap on the Share Screen option from the meeting screen. Next, you will be directed to a screen where you need to either Desktop or Individual App/ Screen. When you need to stop the same you can tap on the red Stop Sharing button. This button can be found at the top of the meeting screen.
