It has gone 200 million daily active users in march 2020, which is a surprising number. Many companies are already using the Zoom app but now it is especially helpful for school and college courses.

1. What is this Zoom app?
Zoom app is a video calling app for large groups as meetings, college lectures, online study, webinar, etc. because it supports up to 100 users for free up to 40 minutes. This app now becomes viral due to lockdown as now many students and teachers are using for online study. Many companies are using for their meetings.
2. How to download the Zoom app?
You can download or install the Zoom app on your Android phone as well as iPhone via Google play store, it is available for both. And at the same time if you want the Zoom app in the more screen or big screen you can also download it on your PC(Personal Computer) visiting Zoom.us/download. And on the computer if you don’t want to download App you can also browse from Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browsers.
In my opinion, you should use it from browsers on your personal computer rather than using the Zoom app on your phone or computer. Using from browsers it will have fewer features but it will protect your privacy.
3. How to register for the Zoom app?
1. After successfully downloading and then installing an app on your android or iPhone or your personal computer, then open the app the first thing it will come on your screen is “join a meeting, sign up, sign in”.
2. If you are using for the first time then click on “sign up”. It will ask for a birth month, date, and year. Fill that birth.
3. After then the third page will open having email. first name and last name. Fill that also with your email is and name. After filling that click on the signup button.
4. Then one message will come “we send an email to verify your account”. Then go to your email account from which you sign up. one notification will come into your email account “please activate your Zoom account”. Then click on the activate button. Or you can also paste the link into your browsers, and then activate the account.
5. After activating the account some information will come to fill all the information which is required. After filling the information click on the continue button.
6. After then you can invite your colleagues or you can enter your colleague’s name who wants to join. Or you can even skip this step now.
7. After doing all the step Sign inform an app on your phone or computer by giving your email id and password. By doing all these steps you are successfully registered for the Zoom app.
8. Now the main screen will come from where you can join a new meeting, schedule your meeting, share your screen, you can also connect to your phone contacts. And there are many features, we will talk about this in the next step.

4. How to invite people to your Zoom Meeting?
Once you have an account you can invite people in different ways.
- If you are using the desktop Zoom app then click on “Meeting” and then if you click on “copy invitation” on the screen then it will automatically copy your meetings URLs or ID and then you can drop it in email or text messages to your colleagues.
- And if you are using the Phone Zoom app then click on “meeting” and then click on “send invitation”. After clicking the pop will open and there be an option to share your meetings URLs, through text messages or email or it will copy to your clipboard.
